I thought I would take a quick video of the table after the first coat to show how much it really needed a second coat.
The second coat made a big difference. There was a defect in one of the soundboard sheets. If I want I can touch that up with a brush. That goes for the joints as well.
You don’t know how happy I was to get the dropcloth down off the wall. It marked the end of not only all the coatings, but the end of the table construction. I could finally start unboxing all my stuff I put away 20 years ago.
