Here’s a closer look at how I positioned the terminal block for mounting. I guess there’s a little OCD in me after all but I wanted the terminal block in the same position on all the cross members, which was basically in the center horizontally and vertically. The two pieces of wood you see there were the exact dimensions needed to allow the terminal block to simply rest on them. That provided the vertical position. And if you notice, there’s a little vertical pencil line on the wood which happens to be directly below where the big C clamp is located. That was the center of the cross member horizontally. The little clamp simply held it in place while I screwed it in.
